It's here for you! A safe, fun place for teens, that offers you respect, and loves the way you give it back in Melton.

On Friday nights the cafe is open from 7 till 9.30, is free, and offers you a drop in snack bar with music, pool table, table tennis,  basketball and a large flat screen TV with Xbox and PS2. Dance mats and Rock band available too

Covenant Life Church owns the building and the Team  in charge are volunteer members from the Church.

Membership cards are now available, forms from the cafe. These will give you quicker access to the cafe, 1/2 price admission on band nights & various discounts in the town as advertised at the cafe. 

 
Our thanks to the following organisations that have awarded us financial grants and support:

Funding:

Youth opportunities Fund: Recieved Summer 2007 and has funded more seating, basketball & games facilities. Art work & improved lighting.

JeldWen: Summer 2008 Suppling & fitting two opening windows for us.

Arts Council: enabled funding of music workshops & equipment, including the stage.

Crimebeat: Cafe catering equipment & the tables & chairs. + a mega night out at their awards ceremony where we won best youth community award & best project overall award for 2005.

Leicestershire Council Shire grants: For awarding us essential regular money towards our running costs anually, which have included heating, flooring & lighting.

Melton Mowbray Building Society charitable trust: Heating equipment. 

Melton Masterfoods:  A donation towards decorating materials when we first started the project

Practical help:

John Thompson & the men at Covenant Life Church who have & continue to work voluntarily to make the building suitable & keep it running.
Tj's for running the cafe & all the help cleaning, setting up etc.
The Youth themselves for looking after the place so well - It's great 'cos you keep it that way.
